The PhD Forum workshop took place in Pravets, Bulgaria between August 11, 2013 and August 22, 2013 as a part of the Fulbright International Summer Institute, which is a regular event organized by the Bulgarian-American Fulbright Commission on a yearly basis. Fifteen PhD students took part in it, presenting their dissertation projects and discussing them with the others, as well as with the initiator and moderator of the workshop, prof. Kostadin Grozev, head of the "Alma Mater" University Complex for Social Sciences at Sofia University. The forum was meant to be a summer school for young researchers and a unique platform for communication and interaction between them.
